Symptoms

If the Content Studio website runs on Server 2012 or Windows 8 any control displays an "PlatformNotSupportedException" error in design mode

Cause

This problem occurs when

  • Content Studio website runs on Server 2012 or Windows 8

Content Studio versions earlier 5.4 is not fully supported on Windows 8 / Server 2012

Resolution

Upgrade Content Studio to version 5.4.

Status

This problem has been fixed in Content Studio version 5.4.
